2026 Presidential installation





On Saturday, December 6th, members of LADHS attended the Los Angeles Dental Society (LADS) 2026 Presidential Installation of Dr. Parvaz Mizrahi and officers.


LADHS' PJ Attebery, RDH, BSDH was honored with the Legacy of Service Award. Dr. Feldman delivered a heartfelt tribute highlighting PJ's unwavering commitment to community oral health and how instrumental she has been in the success of the RAM Clinic and Care Harbor program. PJ is always the first to volunteer, the first to support, and the first to step into leadership for any community event LADHS is a part of. We thank you for your lifetime dedication to community oral health, our profession, and shaping future leaders in dental hygiene.


What a wonderful and inspiring event! Congratulations to the newly installed President and officers of LADS. Cheers to a year of leadership, collaboration, and continued excellence!

HOUSE OF DELEGATES





House of Delegates (HOD) is the annual business and installation event. The meeting involves consideration of proposed bylaws and resolutions, including the budget for the new year. New officers are elected and installed along with new component trustees. The HOD provides a unique opportunity for members to participate in a "behind the scenes experience" and observe the commitment of CDHA's leadership and staff in advancing the profession of dental hygiene.

LOS ANGELES COUNTY
ORAL HEALTH IMPROVEMENT PLAN IMPLEMENTATION REPORT

"COHIP is the first oral health strategic plan for Los Angeles County. It addressed a wide range of issues, from basic awareness of preventive dental care to the need for more services to the broader social determinants of health that impact the welfare of our residents."

Much appreciation to our LADHS board members: PJ Attebery, Laurel Bleak, and Elizabeth Brummel for their dedication and advocacy of dental hygiene interests to this collaborative project.
